Although there is a rage for weblogs these days, I've found it can be pretty tedious reading stream of consciousness writing. I'd like to see people organize their thoughts into a coherent whole. This would challenge the writer to create a framework within which his or her thoughts could logically stand and from which a reader could judge the value of those thoughts.

I want to practice what I propose for others by creating a series of pages that I hope will appeal to the reader as a consistent whole. Graphics are not taboo but will be secondary to the text.

My experience with creating websites began with work for non-profit organizations. My personal websites have emphasized environmentalism, conservation and living sensibly. These subjects are included here, but recently I have been trying to get closer to the root of our behavior: how free are we to make choices and to what extent are we bound to a fate determined by our existence, not just as human beings, but as a form of life?

I'd be very happy to hear from any reader. Use the contact link, at the upper right, to send me an email.
